IO360 vs FireFox 3.5 beta

Well, the short story is that IO360 wins.

IO360 can seriously kick Beta's butt.

If Heuristic Protection and Standard Protection are disabled... it is slightly less ugly.

FireFox 3.0.11 has less problems.. some hangs - but, they are much shorter.

Is there some incantation that would make FireFox look less like a virus?

Hi

Thanks for the input....

For me - at least - I've never had a problem getting IO360 to scan.

Automatic or manual scans work fine...

It's the background stuff that my configurations seems to have a problem with.

My systems hangs for various lengths of time when Standard and Heuristic Protection are running in back ground.

Systems "are" dynamic environments.

MS patches the OS and applications all the time.

The browsers update all the time.

The security utilities update all the time.

It's amazing that the machine can work at all.

Still, all the updates are supposed to improve speed and security - yet, all they seem to suceed in doing is destablizing the system.

If it ain't Broke...

Exactly why I'm running SP2 with NO MS patches at all this time around-It's flat out faster this way,and I've had no security issues.I don't update browsers or anything else until I research it first.Ironic I would Beta test for IObit, isn't it?

Haha, i was deciding on doing the same, but annoying nag screen for updates enrages the evil side of vman. But, even with SP3, i haven't seen any slow downs, i've experienced 1 firefox crash, and i dont know, everything seems normal?(thats considering im running microsoft)
