asc3 is corrupted and wont let me reinstall

my asc3 has become corrupted i cant uninstall and i cant reinstall :cry:Iuse avastpro for my antivirus what i get is a windows msg stating an error code5 i had to do a system restore yesterday to fix aproblem with my realtek AC'97 I use xpsp3

It would be a bit easier to respond if you elaborated a bit :-)

Quite a few posts recently about "corruption", most of them has to do with a false positive from McAfee. Please read a bit in the forum. :-)

I just uninstalled mine and installed the newly released version with no problem. If you cant uninstall it, try deleteing the AWC file in your program files
