Any way to keep "good" cookies from deletion?

Recommended Posts

Just downloaded and scanned for first time. I ordinarily use CCleaner and am able to select cookies which I don't want deleted such as sign-in info and the like.

I don't see any way to select cookies for non-deletion in AWC2. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks, Windmaker:grin:

Hi hhannam @yahoo.com,

Click to "Show Details" of "Privacy Sweep" after scan.

Privacy Analysis window will be opened.

On the left pane, if you uncheck the Cookie Files of any of the browsers that you are using, and click "OK" button, AWC will ignore all cookies afterwards.

If you want to ignore a specific cookie, after clicking on "Cookie Fies", you have to uncheck that specific cookie and click "OK" before repair.

Unfortunatelly, there is no Cookie Ignore List yet, so next time you have to repeat the procedure for the specific cookie not to be cleared.

Hi enoskype & Neil Parks,

There is a work around in the mean time. If you un-check the cookie files in privacy sweep under your browser as enoskype suggests, after running AWC you can click tools-add ons-cookie manager. Select the cookies you want to remove and click delete. Doesn't take too much to do this.
