Driver Updater disappeared

Ever since I updated ASC a while back, it disappeared from the utilities list. Is this supposed to happen?

 

Edit: On a side note, how exactly does "Ultimate Speedup" work?

Driver Updater does not exist in ASC Utilities. It has been taken out from ASC a while ago.

It is a combination of Computer Optimization and Network Optimization.

Number of problems found after Scan for System Optimization in Diagnose System will reveal the changes suggested for that.

Yeah, I'm also kinda glad it got taken out, because after I updated my video card with the one presented (clearly not a 100% compatible driver), my screen started flickering whenever my computer got turned on.

A good driver updater is sorely needed. I hope IoBit doesn't give up on this fantastic idea!

 

Also an option for the driver backup utility to backup to an external device would be great.

 

Where are the drivers backed up anyway?

Hi mobile

The updater is still there - albeit only as a link to download site at first - later as a link to open the program, it is just called by another name (Software Informer). In the additional tools.

The driver backup's are kept in C:/programs/Iobit/Advanced System Care/bakup/drivers by default - you can just back them up to a stick if you want to from there. (Or possibly add a command to your right click that will let you choose another location of your choice).
