How can I download Gmail Emails?

I want to download my gmail emails in my laptop. How can I do it? In which format will they be downloaded?

You can download a Gmail email in multiple formats like EML, PDF, MBOX, etc. Of these formats, PDF is the most suitable since these are readable. Go to the email you want to download and click on the print option (in the top right corner). A print dialog box appears. Select "Print as PDF" as the print option. Your email will be downloaded as a PDF.

To bulk download the emails, multiple select the emails by clicking the check box and send them to yourself as attachments. To this click the three dots and select "forward as attachments". Upon receiving the email, repeat the above step by printing it as PDF. The multiple emails will be downloaded in a single PDF.
