I done a scan this morning and had a tracking cookie so I repaired it and done another scan and still got the same tracking cookie

I done more scans and repairs one after the other and got a few different results "this was before I even logged on to the Internet"

How come I am getting all these different results and the problems never seem to get fixed only get worse and no matter how many scans I do it is always similar

Hi The_Elf,

That is strange!!! Can you click on the problems found and xx XB files found, and see if they are the same problems on each section?

Click the Win Manager icon in Utilities, and Cookies manager in Win Manager, check the Address checkbox, and click "Delete Item" at the bottom.

Scan again with ASC, and see if the tracking cookie exist. What is that tracking Cookie?

Well, the resuts in Junk files are not even similar!!!

4MB=> None=> 634MB=> 3.3GB ?

When you said you didn't log on to the Internet, does it mean you did not open a browser, or not physically connected to the internet?

Certainy, some programs at the background were running, I suppose!

Please give some information about Hardware, OS, Security software, etc.

Cheers.

Hi the elf

When spyware removal/Security Defense says it has 1 or whatever number of "problems", you should click on problems and then choose to immunize everything in all categories.

That ought to make your problem go away.

Cheers

Yes it is more or less the same cookies all the time, I have rebooted and tried again but still the same thing:?

The cookie that appears all the time is

duncan@loc1.hitprocessor.com

Privacy sweep is C:\Users\Duncan\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History\Low\History.IE5\MSHist012009073120090801\index.dat 32.00 KB

I don't connect to any browser, I will try it without any connection
