Whenever I run Game Booster, my Bitdefender icon stops being visible in the task bar.

I must enable it manually and restart my computer.

I looked through the services GB stops and I didn't see services.msc.

Can you help?

 

What I meant to refer to is SSDP Discovery Service being turned off. I turn it back on through Services.MSC.

GB is turning off SSDP Discovery Service. How can I stop that??

Hi Masterblaster,

 

Uncheck the checkbox infront of SSDP Discovery Service, before hitting "Switch to Gaming Mode" button on the main GUI of Game Booster.

 

If it doesn't work, go to Game Booster folder, open GameBooster.ini file with notepad, under [servicelist_xp] change the value of:

SSDPSRV=1 => SSDPSRV=0

Save the GameBooster.ini file.

 

Next time you run Game Booster, and click the "Switch to Gaming Mode" button, SSDP Discovery Service will not be stopped.
