Hi,

If will be the DOG, part of the Free version, will be in language file this sentence: "+ More secure with enhanced malware detection" ?

 

Change button: Button_Purchase_Online.Caption=Upgrade Online ( [iS360_ActiveForm] ) on Button_Purchase_Online.Caption=Purchase Online,

and Label_Main_Upgrade.Caption=Upgrade ( [iS360_ISMainForm] ) on Label_Main_Upgrade.Caption=Activate.

Well, for the Upgrade, it is always used as like that in all versions of ASC, so, I don't see any change in the philosophy of IObit to change that.

If you own license code, just "Activate".

 

Are not two different installers for version Free (Upgrade on Pro) and Pro (Activate licence).

"More secure with enhanced malware detection", could be anything mentioned in THIS post of itobe from IObit.

 

 

There is again, only one setup file like ASC3, for Free and Pro versions of IS 360. When you convert the Free version to Pro, the name of that button changes from Upgrade to PRO. See this post for a screenshot.

let the original translation with sentence. But for Czech users probably will better "Aktivovat" (Activate) than "Povýšit" (Upgrade).

Button_Scan.Caption=Scan

 

The button described in above string does not change when translated with some of the languages including Traditional Chinese, but changes with Simplified Chinese, Korean, Checz, and Estonian languages.

 

It is even hard to describe the bug.

 

You can only see it trying other languages with checking the language files if it is translated.

 

Do you have any idea of the cause of this bug?

Hi leofelix, I have tried nerly everthing including ANSI, Unicode, UTC, etc., XP, Vista, Win7. This button string is behaving very strangely. You can try it for me too.

do note: I translated "Scan" with "Analizzare" (verb infinitive; "Analizza" is imperative)

Some italians translate "Scan" with "Scansionare" which is a horrible neologism (as a matter of facts "Scansionare" in italian doesn't exists and sounds very bad)

and see if it is changed in the program.

 

Damned tried that and said that it did not change it, but changing another string, it changed the word in his case.
