i updated to the new version on 10bit sercurity 360 like most would have already but it says that my anti-virus is off and the firewall that comes with it is it just me or do all or someone else have this problem?

Hi stillfree,

 

In previous versions of IS 360 some antivirus programs and some firewall programs were not identified and for some users, IS 360 reported antivirus and firewall as OFF, when they were infact ON.

 

Please clarify your version of IS 360 and the type of your antivirus/firewall program.

i have version 3.1 and Norton 360 is my anti-virus

Sorry for a late reply, it may still not be identifying the Norton 360 program and states of it. By the way which OS are you using? Are there any other security programs running?

IObit may have noted that, and we have to wait and see if the next version of IS 360 solves that.

follow these steps

 

1] remove all security programmes

 

2] then remove there registry entries with Tweaknow powerpak 2009 (link is in my oryxer thread)

 

3] restart pc

 

4] install anivirus first off the windows firewll

 

5] then install IObit 360 security

 

6] then restart pc

 

7] u will see that IObit 360 detects u r antivirus

 

That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
