i have also tried reinstall of game booster a couple of times to no help

Do you mean Smart Defrag or Game Booster? there is no such program as Game Defrag.

should work. the analyzing just takes a while depending on the game size, make sure none of the files are running.

Game Defrag identifies my fragmented game files but does not actually defrag them!?

 

I have installed v1.21. I select the folder that I want to defrag (World of Warcraft on my desjtop) fot it to scan. It scans and finds the fragmented files. They are between 200Mb and 4Gb with between 4 and 20000 fragments. I click on defrag and one second later it gives me the message "Defrag finished. Enjoy now!" I run the scan again and still the same files are left fragmented.

 

Why is Game Defrag not actually defragging my files? And why does it blatantly lie to me?
