W32.Induc.A detected in Game Booster on my system [SOLVED with GB 1.21]

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I woke up this morning and my Norton told me that W32.Induc.A was on my system and that Norton supposedly removed it.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with this pest, and happens to know if it is *really* removed, or if I have to go in an manually delete files, run in safe mode, ect ect.

I am a bit disappointed in IOBit, because I purchased their Advanced System Care Professional software, and it told me about Game Booster. I never had an issue with Game Booster before.

I am on a new computer and this is my first virus on it, so it kind of stinks in that regard.

Any help.suggestions would be great thanks!

As of today, a new VirusTotal analysis including symantec aka Norton shows that Game Booster is clean.
