IObit Security 360-Very bad impression.

I think the software uses Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware's engine which costs €18.32 with lifetime license. The detection rate is too low and the FP's are quite more than I hoped.I will never give my money($24.95 PER YEAR!!!) for this weak software. You got to make a lot better and cheaper product to take the people's money.Norton Internet Security costs less than 15 euro here in Bulgaria.11 euro per year for NIS 2010 versus 24,95 dollars for IObit Securiy.Think about it.And please, do not censure my post. ;))

Have a nice day.

Hello,

The anti-malware engine is R&D by IObit for 2 years. We do NOT buy or use 3rd party's technology, since there are enough genius in IObit team. If you really dislike IS360 PRO, please ask for a refund within 30 days, and we surely return your money :)

Thanks anyway.

Visual pollution

Seemed ok to me as well

On a personal note to bequick

The misinformation in your first post was corrected and you were offered a full refund.

50 days later you return and bombard us with this big red rant.

I don't know if you still carry a grudge, for whatever reason, or if you have a vested interest in trying to discredit Security 360 but you should realize that if all you offer is misinformation and a rant then you can't expect anyone to take you seriously

But still

All the best, woz of oz

NOT an antivirus

NOT an antivirus program but a spyware/malware program and u cannot compare it to antivirus programs. i have used 360 and found it has a good spyware/malware defence. but its still a bit bugie ... and to say Iobit lie to people is on called for and on true ...

yeah...yeah...

People still doesn't make the difference between an antivirus and a antispyware/malware program.I work in IT and I have to use antispyware/malware programs, beside an antivirus, because there is NO antivirus that can see all viruses.

I love the interface and options of IObit Security. Also,I have tried Advanced system care free and it's OK :)

Cheers,guys!

All these whiners! It's unbelievable.

I'm personally a fan of constructive criticism but this is not 'Constructive criticism' this is damn right disregards for respect for forum members, moderators and admin that are here to help people that have problems with there IObit programs.

The forum had fallen nice and quite for a while after the Malwarebytes feud.

Until this geezer came along.

It's nice to see him banned.

If anyone else bring this up, i think they should be banned on the spot. We have heard everything that is needed to say on that subject. End of.

I want the quite friendly forum back like the good old days

Rant over.

What about security for my computer? Can people break in to my computer over the network?

not if you have a decent fire wall installed -but nothing is 100%

the only guaranteed way you are, pull out the modem ,take it ,lay it down in your drive way, call the wife .tell here ta get in the mustang ,rev it up ,and hit the peddle.now ta be shure get her ta do a couple burn outs ,take it back inside plug it in -you got the perfect protection.

.nothing can break into your network

yes this helps if readers do not want to do what i posted as the best protection..your software should help--

the critical thing is the fire wall - this has to be 90% + of it--and software you use should cover it to 99.99% ---

Hello D.Dress,

A lot of what makes a PC secure is not only software, but places you visit on the web. If you visit unfavorable sites like porn and other places, your PC could get all kinds of nasty bugs in it. Software helps a lot as the other folks say here. Although IS 360 and other programs like it only provide a piece of total protection, you need a good Antivirus program and a good firewall, like jjj mentions. IF you don't know and start asking what programs to get, you'll get a lot of people's favorites, which, I've seen are pretty good. Bottom line, again, you need a good Antivirus program, a good firewall(Windows is ok, but there are other 3rd party ones out there free that are better), a good antimalware/antispyware program(IS 360 will recover and be better than ever IMO) and a good PC cleanup tool such as Advanced System Care by IOBIT(this company providing the Forum). For ASC get the free version first to try, then if you like it, pay a nominal charge to upgrade to pro.
