facebook farm town game

partner and daughter have got into this online game and are having a lot of fun.then the pc began freezing up with all sorts of internet explorer errors.i discovered gamebooster and they seem to have trouble free playing now.question i have, is gamebooster ok to play online games such as this.i am not very tech savvy and was concerned about anti virus/maleware progs being stopped.hope someone can spare a moment to put me in the picture.the pc they are using is a low spec dell.512mb ram winxp.thanks

If you are playing Online games, make sure to un-check anti-virus & firewall programs NOT to close.

(I have seen malware get in from the ads on farmtown. You should always have antivirus & firewall running if you are online!

(P.S.-Farmtown is an addictive little game that is still in beta. They have had so many new people start playing that as of yet their servers cannot keep up. It locks up & glitches all the time, usually when trying to harvest. Ex-addict,killed of my crops at level 34!)
