what is false or real !!!!!?????? [SOLVED with def:1209]

i scan whit iobit360 and he find a trojan in "Virus_Effect_Remover2.7.exe"

but "malwarebytes antimaleware" find nothing suspicius in this file !!!!

so which one must i believe?

You can upload the file to http://www.virustotal.com/ where it can be tested to decide if it is a false positive. If it is you can tell IS 360 to ignore. Please post your results.

That scan was from v2.7

 

The new version Virus_Effect_Remover_3.1.1.10.exe comes back clean.

i had a similar problem. S360 thought a data file for the game Combat Arms was malware. also malewarebytes thought a microsoft .exe file (idk what it was or how it got there) was a trojan downloader. S360 didnt pick it up, and niether did symantec. so i figured it was clean.

 

the thing about my game though, since its a free online game, when it closes it brings up an ad about other games by Nexon (the developers of the game) so S360 must have picked that up and registered it as malware. i just dont want to delete the file incase it is important to running the game.

for solving the fp asap, please scan the "Virus_Effect_Remover2.7.exe" via 'right-click scan' of is360 again, save a report and show us.
