Possible FP with McAfee?

IObit identified McAfee's MPFPPS.dll file as the Bifrose.NEL trojan. Quarantine/Removal of the file disables McAfee's firewall.

 

Anybody else have the same issue? Can you determine if this is indeed a false positive.

Most probably false positive, but why don't you check that file in VirusTotal , and post the result here, in this thread?

it most probably is a false positive, deeply sorry.

 

you could put it to the ignore list before finall solutions.

 

and please offer us that which version of your McAfee's firewall, is it the latest one?

 

would you please attach the MPFPPS.dll to us/update it to the virustatal for sure.
