I have just downloaded your latest version (1.01 Iobit Security 360) and Avira Antivir (from Germany) reports that is has the virus TR/Dropper (run2) in the file. I cannot remove or delete it. I cannot quarentine it. I did not install it and await further instructions. I have tried the CNET version and ther version from your site directly. ???

It is most likely a false postive.

http://analysis.avira.com/samples/index.php

Use this page to submit it.

I think you're right, it maybe a false positive. Because when I download Iobit 360 version 1.01 in my computer with eset nod32 smart security, it isn't detected as virus compare to my computer with avira internet security installed.

So my conclusion, nod32 together with iobit 360 is the best way to protect my pc! ^_^

Hello

I agree with MacPeter : we can't follow with "it may be" !

The latest update of antivir premium detect a trojan in this file... so, in several forums, members declare that security 360 is a rogue

Well, I submit to Avira so they can have a look

bye

THERE IS NO VIRUS in IOBIT SECURITY 360 !!!

titou56, I have given before in post #4 the results of VirusTotal and now I am giving it again:

As of today.

Result: 0/41 (0%)

VirusTotal results show NOTHING in that file. I think that is enough.

THERE IS NO VIRUS IN IS 360

Here is also, the quote from Avira:

The file 'IS360Init.exe' has been determined to be 'FALSE POSITIVE'. In particular this means that this file is not malicious but a false alarm. Detection is removed from our virus definition file (VDF) with the version: 7.1.6.72.

This is not an " it may be".

Cheers.
