Be carefull uninstalling Smartdefrag

I uninstalled Smartdefrag & got trouble. SmartDefrag is really bad. I tried to uninstall it twice ||| both times it really messed up my PC. It made my Norton Ghost backups no good. It made all of my System Restores useless. It made my start up icons not load on the taskbar. I finally deleted it in Windows Explorer to get rid of it. Please reply if you've heard of this?

I wonder if it was running an automatic defrag when you uninstalled it?
