Recommended Posts

Thanks garybear,

Please check my above post again.

-TCP receive window to 63360

-Bandwidth speed to 512

-Check mark Windows Scaling

Apply and Restart PC.

Screenshots of speedguide.net.

You can verify the Network Adapter from Device Manager.

ADSL2+Router CT-5621 is your ADSLmodem/router.

Great garybear !!!

Well done garybear, GREAT. Your Internet Connection is optimized for the conditions that you have at the moment.:-D

Please try with IE also.

..............................................GARYBEAR'S OPTIMUM INTERNET CONNECTION

http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2079&d=1255563867

I believe, now, you can feel the difference of the connection to web sites.

Tomorrow, we can look if we can increase your MTU to 1492.

We have tried it before with MTU Tool but there was no success.

Tomorrow is another day, and who knows, we can beat it.

Be well my friend and cheers.

FYI, garybear, even with 500ms (miliseconds) latency (Bandwith delay) (connection for long distances), your connection is capable of 1Mbps (1024Kbps) download and upload speeds. (Of course it is limited to 512Kbps download and 256Kbps upload by your ISP.)

System Optimization Scan!!!

Hey garybear,

http://forums.iobit.com/images/icons/icon4.gif DO NOT FORGET TO PUT THOSE ABOVE Details into Ignore List in Diagnose System of System Optimization, in ASC3 after Scan.

Cheers. :-D

EDIT: Opppsss....You have posted what I warned you for!!! GREAT.

Just change the RWIN (TCP Receive Window) value in the 4th image for the best correct image to 63360, then it will represent exactly your real values.

Hi there, enoskype,

go to Speedguide.net and post here the results,so we can adjust your connection.
Done that, but I think I'll leave any adjustments for a while as I'm quite happy with my service at the moment (probably because I don't know any better).

Hi Ted,

You are doing OK, just follow me so you can optimize it if you wish.

You only need to change two values:

Use slider Speed=>256 Kpbs (You can use 512 Kpbs in Internet Booster)

1) RWIN (TCP Receive Window): 65340 to 65320 (This is multiple of your MSS value=1420) (1420 x 46 = 65320)

and,

2) TTL (Time to live) : 52 to 76 (To get 64 when measured by speedguide.net.)

- The rest of all the values should be as garybear's. (Be it, Firefox TCP Optimizer or Internet Booster of ASC3.)

You have to Restart the PC for the registry values to be effective.

Check it in speedguide.net for verification.

That's it !!!

Cheers.

Hope this helps some one.

Thought maybe these screen prints could help some one. Pause your mouse over Broadband until Broadband tools opens then pause mouse over Broadband Tools until you see SG/IP Analzer. Click on Sg/IP Analzer. Scroll down and find the information in screen prints and send them to my friend enoskype. Hope this makes this easy for some member.Live well .{garybear}PS Warning" Do not click on the green scan now icon."

Hi Ted,

Yes, this is Optimum for your connection.

Well done.

Hi gary, OMG .

What have you done? All the values are changed in your last images, and your connection is not optimium now. :-(

If you want it optimized, use the values I have given to you before in post #53.

Cheers.

Hi garybear,

This image shows what it wants to do, not what is done.

Change MTU= 1492 to 1480

Change TCP Receive window= 63888 to 63360

Apply, and then Restart PC, take the screenshot of speedguide.net Result.

Cheers.

PS. I think you have tried something different that changed those values.

Since you said do not click green scan now icon , did you click it? :|

Cheers.

Hi enoskype. I don't know why this is so hard for me to understand. I feel like I'm hitting my head against a brick wall. You are very kind to put up with my stupidity. I can't believe you stuck with me. I will have to admit if I were you< I would give up on me a long time ago.Thank you my friend.{garybear}

Hi garybear, the great fighter.

This time you have changed TCP receive window. (infact it must be the last thing to change, because when you change something else, it is automatically changed by them).

Please, please only change it to 63360

Noting else.

Control all the others if they are the same as in your last image.

Don't forget to apply and restart the Windows.

Cheers.

PS. The last result must be the same as the one in post #53

Hey!!!!! that's it my friend.:-D

I knew that you were going to do that.

Don't forget to put them into ignore list, if ASC finds them in System optimization somehow.

Well done again!!!

Cheers.
