Hi Enoskype,

1) Could you have a Running Thread or Sticky for the "IOBit Security 360", the Standard version ... so when there is a Newer version available you can Post it on the Thread's 1st Page ... instead having 200 posts by everyone on the Same subject ...

Also if anyone wants to comment on 360 ... then all those comments will be bunched up in one place and easier to locate ...

2) How is that there is a Version "IObit Security 360 1.0.2.10" available on Softpedia and yet again CNET download that is linked to the OFFICIAL IOBit's website it only shows "IObit Security 360 1.01", and yet again Your version number says 1.02 vs 1.0.2?

3) Why is so much discrepencies on Numbering system of the Different Versions of IOBit Security?? Very Confusing!!! :???:

THANKS,

G! :)

Hi gonwk,

The difference is because of the version #s of the setup file and actual program exe file.

In this case, is360setup.exe is 1.0.2.10, and is360.exe is 1.0.2.2

As a main common # it is called version 1.02 as written on the main GUI of IS 360.

The load on the forum server's different sections has to be balanced in a way, so your #1 Q is not practical, on the other hand, otherwise, who is talking about which version will confuse all of us.

For the Softpedia and yet again CNET download, IObit should answer that.

Hi firzen771,

The change log has been discussed above, and I don't know it!!!

Cheers.

Please provide links to those tests. Thanks!

Regardless, I am more concerned about real-time intercession of threats for which there are no signatures/database, i.e. first day, in the wild, etc. (tertiary apps like ThreatFire or Zemana) for protection of a cleaned/uncompromised or newly built/imaged system. Have any of those tests concluded S360's Dual-Core engine and the heuristics to be deficient in any way?
