missing icon

i downloaded Advanced SystemCare and installed it. The program is working but its missing the icon so on the taskbar it shows a windows file icon instead of the Advanced SystemCare icon. i checked properties and clicked change icon but the icon shows there. i also uninstalled and installed again. anyone know how i can fix this?

Which icon did you change it into?

Were you able to find the default icon for ASC?

In the uninstall situation, did you do a clean install - and did you remove the wrong icon in the systray first?

My resolution was to replace the fouled Server's shdocvw.dll file in Windows\System32 with the same file from an identical OS'd Server.You may get the solution.
