DOG needed for Against Known Malware?

Yeah I picked up on that when I read the Web site, too. That doesn't answer my question, though.

Well, maybe I should reword my inquiry...

If one wants to use IS360 real-time protection as a signatures-only does DOG need to be disabled as well as "Against Unknown Threats"?

In other words, is DOG used during real-time or on-demand, or both?

DOG or not, it wont matter since IObit is USELESS in real-time, complete trash when running real-time, it wont catch anything that it catches in a scan...

so my advice is just use it ondemand till they feel like getting it to work instead of adding more features to it...

Please cite your evidence and not please what exactly was said (in summary) I don't really feel like reading through everything.

its a known issue experienced by many where iobit will not detect anything in realtime then if u do a scan it will detect everything that it missed, the realtime doesnt seem to work or doesnt work well, if u check WilderSecurity Forums u can see im not the only person experiencing it and if u also look at some youtube reviews u can see how iobit will detect nothing in realtime then find them with a scan.

Hi firzen,

Although you have a valid point there in general, "will not detect anything", and "will detect nothing" comments are not exactly correct for real-time detection. As it does detect the changes in startup items, and so as some others.

Cheers.

that seems to be more of a HIPS like detection, not the actual database detecting anything.

Wilders? Please. Wilders and $1.79 will get you a bottle of cheap malt liquor and that's it.Generally, 95% of You Tube is a cesspool. Some buffoon over there did a test of Immunet and concluded it "didn't detect anything" as I watched it catch two threats and when clearly his desktop showed two red flagged items in the apps' history panel. So, in other words, no evidence. Thanks for throwing my post off-topic. I'd appreciate it greatly if you didn't xxxx it up anymore.

Can we get back to my OP inquiry??

Thanks!

are u a complete xxxxx? im not saying their reviews are accurate in anyways, all i said was they SHOWED that what IObit detects in an ondemand scan it WILL NOT detect in realtime, thats is the ONLY point that i made and it is a true point and it relates to this because DOG is a realtime feature and clearly isnt properly working.

and im sorry but if u consider this forum to be more security software accurate than wilders than ur joking urself, have u seen half the threads here? the real life nature pics, cars, etc this is hardly a security forum, wilders is a weel respected security forum with many posters who work in the industry. so before u make urself look like more of an xxxxx, learn a little and read a little more carefully to what people say.
