Iobit claims to be a partner with DVDFast. In reality, I think DVDfast really is Iobit in disguise. If you compare Fast Video Converter PRO dvdfast.net with WinX DVD Ripper winxdvd.com, it is pretty clear they are the same program. Iobit did it again, misleading people with fake information. Its pretty obvious that Iobit, DVDFast, and Digiarty software are all the same company. Why does Iobit not want people to know?

In My 4 Years As Computer Technician Ive Seen Alot Of Programs That Use The Same Interface Or The Same Logo... There Are Alot Of Companies That Are Doing That.

The point is. How can Iobit be trusted? They ripped off Malwarebytes. Falsely claimed companies like Bizjournals, AOL, Reuters, HooVers, and Forbes featured and recommended Iobit Security 360, when in fact they were just press releases issued by Iobit. Why is Iobit misleading people by claiming to be partners with DVDFast and Digiarty, when they actually are all the same company.

This is a general discussion forum. I would think that would include a certain level of freedom of speech. The main reason I posted, was to try and get answers to my questions. So far, there has been very little answers and mostly name calling and examples of immaturity. That certainly does not help Iobits reputation.

But you must be rather slow - you are writing about the same things as was the topic for ranters and naggers 4-5 weeks ago.

If you notice - the general discussion forum you are in is about IObit Security 360 with a subtitle that tells you that it is the way the program works that the general discussion is about.

This is a help forum - not a soap box forum!!

Futhermore you are in a thread that was created as a courtesy to naggers and ranters and genuinely concerned people.

This does not mean that you will be allowed to say the same thing over and over.

The problem has been posted and once again, so answers. Just people complaining and refusing to answer. My post was moved into the disbute forum by a moderator. When people need help, sometimes they actually ask questions. Like this. Is Iobit and DVDFast, and Digiarty the same company? Is there any professional reviews of Iobit Security 360? Like in PC Mag, PC World, etc. What is the status of Iobit vs Malwarebytes case? Secondly, do you expect anyone to believe your claim of innocence in that you are only asking a question ?

It is good policy to show where the quote is taken from!

 

If you look at the thread with the comparison testing you will see some tests where Mbam scores higher, but it is in an environment where there is also very many viruses that are being found.

IS360 is not an anti-virus program and consequently doesn't have as many virus definitions in its database as Mbam apparently have.

 

In the light of not taking that into account your comment is ok.

Test are tests-one can come up with nearly any comparison result they wish to achieve by using selected "canned" samples and manipulating the testing environment.Fx. Norton consistently ranks #1 over a Cnet,however,not so in other independent tests,and certainly not #1 IMHO.
