Invalid Windows Live Essentials .EML File Extensions

Scanning for Registry errors under Maintain Windows, ASC decides the entries for Microsoft Internet Mail Message WLMail for Windows Live Essentials under Windows 7 Home Premium, are invalid and may be safely deleted. If they are removed by ASC, files with .EML extensions cannot be opened because the .EML extension is removed from the Registry, and a default program cannot be associated with it. :-(

Thanks for posting this. I think Iobit needs to look into this problem. In the mean time, best to place those in the Ignore List.

It may be good idea to send areport to IObit too, as at the moment they may be concerned with some other issues and the post may slip through their eyes.
