hi all

Today Tuesday 10/11/09 GMT 12:00 I tried to update or enter IObit site or Forum and I noticed that it was blocked by AVG FRee 9.0 Link-Scanner characterising the site as exploit, phishing -potential Threat.

What is going on with these AV Vendors who play JESUS ???

We will all start loosing our temper soon.

I expect an immediate action by IOBit Team.

cheers

surfing in IOBit bypassing AVG

Hi all

for those who have AVG installed on their PCs .

there are three ways to surf in IOBit

a) if u have AVG toolbar installed . Press Total Protection tab/untick the first two boxes /press OK (best way)

after leaving IObit tick them back again

b) In AVG interface choose Linkscanner and disable it.....

c) Uninstall AVG and install other Antivirus like avast, avira,....

cheers

hello olol

you are welcome.

I believe IObit is not pretending to be AVG.

This seems to be an old attempt for cooperation.

AVG 8.5 is going to be withdrawn soon. Now i don't know why the link remained there. U may ask IObit owners.

It's not the first time that AVG take arbitrary decisions and act like a "Dictator" Recently decided to disable WindowsDefender by force leaving no option to the users.

also try to post in AVG Forum and then u will realise what i mean....

cheers

Hi William,

Thanks for your email.

This is something we take very seriously and I have passed this on to our managing director for further action.

If you are looking to download a trial of AVG, I would strongly encourage you to do so using http://www.avg.com.au/download as opposed to any other link.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention, and please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Kind regards

I got a second reply as well.

Hi William

Thanks for your information about IoBit.

I have passed it to our legal department in Europe who are very vigilant in following up trademark infringements and unauthorised usage of our products and trademarks.

Once again thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Regards,
