360 version 1.3 error messages during application start

We consistently have on multiple machines error messages when starting the new installed release of IObit Security 360 version 1.3 on Windows XP SP3 with all updates and patches installed. Uninstall, reboot and re installation did not solve these issues. All done with accounts that have Administrative privileges.

 

We get these messages during system start-up and the application will not load. When we load it manually after start-up we continue to see these error messages. It clearly states that it is attempting a memory access and it fails.

 

Memory has been checked and also other software runs without problems. This is really isolated to this application and we suspect sloppy programming where incorrect memory access is attempted. This must be solved because we have not paid for nothing for the Pro edition on our PC's. Right now it has become a security and stability risk to the desktop users and we are reviewing for its permanent removal.

 

I hope for a very rapid response and wonder why Pro users cannot get different support then the forums. With a Pro license I was hoping to get a better access to support then just extra features.

explaining your case, as you are entitled for 24/7 support for your Pro versions.

 

Here, in the forum, we try to help to everbody, and aware of the problem in IS 360, waiting for a new release soon.

 

A temporary solution may be to install the setup file of IS360 130 again on top of version 1.3

Reporting to support

 

Follow-up after suggestions from enoskype:

 

Tried installation on top of existing, no solution found and application keeps partially crashing. Reported as Pro user to support@iobit.com.

 

Probably a new release is needed to address this issue.
