i was just asking what is the best defragmenting software to use for XP.

 

I would just like to know what would be the best for my computer.

Please read Think about Defragmentation!!! thread and Smart Defrag section in the forum.

 

There is no best defragmenter, but best preference.

 

BTW, IObit's Smart Defrag is a great defragmenter.

I think Smart Defrag

 

We were just talking about Smart Defrag a few hours ago in the thread 3 Options

I personally think it is the best and I have tried the rest (as far as I know) :smile:

I'm down to 3 naps a day and on certain occasions I sneak in# 4 :grin:

I also use Smart Defrag. Having tried a few I find it better than the others. Thats just my opinion, but hey you could always try it, if you dont like it delete it.
