Windows - No Disk Exception processing message C0000013 PArameter

THumphrey

Recommended Posts

Lately, when using the Registry Fix feature in Advanced System Care Free, about halfway through the process a box appears titled:

Windows No Disk

with the message:

Exception processing message C0000013 PArameters 75b6bf9c 475b6bf9c 75b6bf9c.

and the process stops

There are three options offered Cancel Try Again and Continue.

Clicking on continue allows the process to complete.

Could you explain what this error is, and is there away to remove it?

Hi THumphrey,

Most probably, you are using ASC 3.4. Please update to version ASC 3.41, and try if it makes the same glitch.

Also try to download the definition file from http://download.iobit.com/awc3/Def.dbd and insert it to the main ASC folder.

Cheers.

I just updated to ASC Pro and am using Version 3.4.1. I get the same error as THumphrey. I checked and it already has the file in the ASC directory.

Any other ideas?

Hi dynocat

ASC doesn't update all that often and it is usually said beforehand in the forum. When IObit feels ready to do an update they will usually say it in the main window under the tab news and you can click there too to get the update.

Upgrade to the pro version is another matter.

But it ought to say that you already have the latest version, it does by me - but I am running XP sp3

But I think it will correct itself the first time you really get an update :-)

Cheers

Maybe I used the wrong terminology. I just upgraded to ASC Pro, version 3.4.1.

Yet, I still get the "Windows - No Disk Exception..." error.

My question, since I already have the iobit.com/awc3/Def.dbd file in the ASC directory, is if there are any other suggestions for getting rid of the error.

Hi dynocat

What does your Update log.txt say, and what does your Update history.txt say

Hey THumphrey,

Can you attach an screenshot of your "Processes" inside "Task Manager"

I believe it is caused by some processes that is running in the background.

* If possible, try to get ALL the processes running into the screenshot. It would be great if we can have a look at all of the processes running while you are using Advanced SystemCare

Cheers.

c0000013 error

I am using IOBit Pro v3.4.1

I get the c0000013 error when the registry is scanned.

However, if I have a cd/dvd in the drive I do not get the error.

It's almost like a scan has occurred while a cd/dvd was in the drive and now the program expects something in the drive.

This appears to be a db problem, however, the software should allow for the changable state of cd/dvd/usb drives

It is very irritating
