beta 4.01 still got bugs

running this beta, works ok till I reboot the pc the following icons fail to load in the lower right screen by the windows clock [using xp pro]

 

norton internet 2007

spywhere terminater

gmail notifier

download accelorater plus [free ver]

speedbit video accelerator [free ver]

 

some icons do load ok on reboot, those that do not load appear once their program has been opened via start - programs.

 

can we try another fix please had same problem with beta 4.00 but not 3.1.

Hello, the problem is caused by uninstalling the previous version of ISD. So when you uninstall 3.1 or 4.0, the startup item under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Run" will removed.

 

It's a bug in InnoSetup, the program supposed to delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Run\IObit Smart Defrag", but when the Value "IObit Smart Defrag" is empty, it will remove the whole key!

 

You can do a test that if you have install 4.01, and try to uninstall it. The Startup items will not be removed any more.
