AdvancedSystemCarePro System Optimization RESETS Terminal Services to Disabled...wtf?

Fragger

Recommended Posts

Advanced System Care Pro is a god save, makes my computer super fast, and removes all the crap, same with ATF Cleaner, CC Cleaner, and IOBit Security 360... But....

Recently, whenever it does the System Optimization scan, on any preference, it changes it from automatic to manual, or automatic to disabled...

It did this recently and I have to manually fix it and I have NO idea why it's doing this to me.

Let me post a HiJackThis log and let me see if that helps.

This guy is having the same problem I have:

http://forums.iobit.com/showthread.php?t=1911&highlight=terminal+services+keep+getting+disabled

Seems I'm not the only one. What does he mean add it to the ignore list? Please, can they stop it from disabling terminal services, it's doing it recently and it never did that before... :( Anyone else have similar issues?

Hi Fragger,

Please read USAGE of IOBIT PRODUCTS thread in Lounge section.

It is described there in detail how to put the items in Ignore List.

In short, it is to click on the found problems and then right clicking on the item in the opened Details: window and choosing to ignore the item, so it will be put in the ignore list and next time when ASC scans, will not see The Terminal Services condition and ignore the setting.

Cheers.

OMG, Thank You. It Fixed it, How Do I put it so it doesn't detect it after I put it in the ignore list? That fixed that stupid thing, I don't know why it said disabled, oh well, it's not doing it anymore, since I pinpointed that specific program editing my services.

Hi again Fragger,

I believe there is nothing to fix, as when the Terminal Services running, if not used specificly by the user, it is effecting the performance of a PC, so in the process of optimizing a PC, ASC is only suggesting that they shoud be disabled, and if the user needs those (or any other) services, then the choice should be to put them in the Ignore List.

If you check the checkbox of "Show guide window" in General Settings of "Options", you will be warned for that operation by a Welcome window.

I hope this is clear enough!!!

BTW, nobody but IObit knows when ASC v4 will be available.

Cheers.
