SmartDefrag 1.40 Sleeping Problem Windows 7

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit

SmartDefrag: 1.40

Problem: My windows 7 was set to sleep after 15 minutes of inactive. SmartDrag is doing a fast optimize, but windows 7 keeps fall asleep after 15 minutes - it does not recognize smartdefrag as an active running program. After windows 7 resumes, smartdefrag resumes too - thus I am sure it is working rather than finished.

 

No such problem with windows vista ultimate 64bit version.

Not famialiar with 7.

 

So you mean 7 should not sleep until SD finishes? But instead 7 sleeps and "pauses" SD. How much time passed in these resumes?

Have you used SD with System rights?
