if you want to have a little fun with a friend set there taskbar to autohide.

once hidden take a screen shot with the print screen key.

now set the desktop to hide all icons, and change their background to the screen shot you just took

Mark Russinovich, of Sysinternals, created a BSOD screen saver back in 2006. I've had lots of fun with it. Don't have a clue what it would do on W7.
