The Writing "Advanced Windows Care V2 personal " has suddenly started appearing along the taskbar .I find it very annoying , but cannot find a way of getting rid of it .

Apart from that I find it impressive and would go for the professional version if I could get rid of all writing taking up so much space in the taskbar.

If you mean the sytem tray,

are you sure it comes without provocation of mouse arrow?

 

Anyway, you can either uncheck the "Minimize to system tray when program is closed (Recommended)" checkbox,

or,

uncheck the "Show balloon tips in sysrem tray (Recommended)" checkbox

under General Settings of Auto-Care on main window.

 

If you really mean the taskbar, it can not be longer than any other open program's, unless you have changed the MS Windows' adjustments.

Cheers enoskype Followed your advice and got rid of it in Advanced winows care settings .

I jhave always understood the blue bar along the bottom of the screen to be the taskbar , and the actual writting took up twice the amount of space that a normal program occupies in the taskbar ( or system tray to give it it`s proper name )

anyway thanks for getting rid of it.
