Game Booster 1.31 auto dial-up

Does anyone know how to stop the newest version of Game Booster (v1.31) from automatically dialing up the internet. I posted this question before (to no avail) when I first started using v1.22. I don't play games online because dial-up is so slow, and I'd prefer to manually check for updates on the software. Thanks in advance for any insight into this problem/feature.

If you use a firewall such as ZoneAlarm, you can stop Game Booster connecting to internet.
