Will Game Booster really increase the performance of my PC while I'm gaming?

Hi! :)

I am a happy customer of IOBit, and i own a copy of the wonderful ASC Pro.

I have an Intel Dual Core 2.8 with 3 GB DDR2 RAM, and a GeFORCE 8400 GS video card with 512 MB of DDR2 RAM.

I am intersted in installing Game Booster, and would like to know, please, if will this tool provide any significative change on my experience while in games.

And, regarding it "weight", it consumes too many resources of the system?

What do you think about it?

I would appreciate very much your opinions. :)

Thanks!

Hi ewsg

That is a hard question to answer without more information.

It depends on how you have configured your computer and your services mainly, if you have most of the resource users inactive beforehand you will probably not see too much difference.

Best judge - yourself by trying it :-)

The size of the program is fairly small 3.19 MB

Almost half to the .exe file and almost the other half to the uninstall file

You could save >200 KB by deleting all languages except English and your own language, but why bother for that amount of "saving" KB :-)

Cheers

My system,

AMD 6000, 4 Gig, 8800 GTS, Windows 7-64.

Well, here is my experience.

When I open GB before I run it, it consumes approx. 6,800 K.

Once it automatically minimizes, it only uses 1,100 K.

When I run GB it shuts down approx. 230 MB.

It would be hard to argue that these savings won't improve my gaming experience.

I think it's also safe to say that a system that barely plays a game will be benefit most over a newer system.

I always use this.
