smart defrag scrambled drive ID

Recommended Posts

I did a deep optimization on my "G" drive (Samsung 200GB) and on reboot I discovered that most of the files on drive were gone !!! When I tried to reboot (boot drive is "C") the "G" Samsung drive name was scrambled and boot would not happen as the sequence would stop after identifying the drives. Windows XP system rebooted all right when I disconnected this "G" drive. How can I recover my drive and information that has disappeared ?? Thank you...billd
