Newbie and wondering if I am using the correct thread in regard to title. However if not correct perhaps someone can guide me to correct thread.

My problem is as follows. I am trying to configure e-mail notifier settings for hotmail. On each occasion during the test procedure it fails on two fronts i.e. log in to server failed and failed testing mail account.

 

I am pretty certain that the details are correct and wondering why the rejection.
