defrag installed new

any ony els having the same problem? new install on brand new on win7..

 

shame i cant get it to defrag. and run..

 

as i do like iobit software redid it 3 times (uninstall) reinstall get the same

and no idea why

This subject has been discussed several times.

It is mentioned in Usage of IObit Products thread - links there too.

Please provide information as to the settings you have chosen.

One of those you could try changing is the 20% usage limit.

What are the different volumes shown?

i don't complain about the software from IObit .most cases just sit it out till there is something new or perhaps fixed.

 

the trouble is it sits there doing nothing,no mater what is clicked on.

i can click till the cows come home ,and still 0 respondent program.

just sits there .

 

looking at the task manager ,it tell me its running..

and have to end it there

or like i keep saying sits there.

if you look closely at the screen shots you see some running errors,

i think.the yellow thick lines that appear.when trying to click on a change..

 

that are displayed.in its menu.i was thinking perhaps the encrypted drive ?

so booted up with out it .same nothing moving..10% CPU usage that's it .all its showing,why i asked here if it was just my system as its fairly new app(version) or if any one els has the same problem.on win7.

by the way that's all i use now..

 

i have in use a other one have for years ,no problems,so i was thinking ,try this..

any how no big deal .just a bit disappointing it failed for me.

yes i read the whole tread and was fascinated by the descriptions gives a lot of work went into that.

 

thats looks different to this version.the version i saw is a round captured summary

also its XP that is under discussion...i cant see win7 or any reference to it and the program.,but its getting on.and looking for a newer one free.

this is the free version.and works fairly well.

Please find the threads that discus this issue.

I ran a test of the auto-defrag function and the scheduled defrag function some time ago and showed the results in some screenshots.

No problem by me then - albeit it was done on a Windows XP sp3 OS

Do you run in adminstrator mode?

Have you tried a totally clean install - deleting the program folder too - checking yourself if it has been deleted!

What is your drives? If some of them are external drives or flash sticks it may be your settings that needs configuring.

Do you run in administrator mode? yes fully in my control.!100% always.

sure ,

have 3 times.install.uninstall.then the last try re imaged the drive.

 

my drive are fixed,i did not insert any other.

700.gig the booting disk

2x1 terry byte drives.. 1 booting the other data only..

any how look don't worry about it .and thank you for the time again spent.

its not that important ..and i can live without it..i think its the OS that it has problems with?

i don't complain about the software from IObit .and am always reluctant to bring any up in the spotlight.as i do not want to be seen in the light of complaining..or if there is something wrong .there are plenty .of people that do.and i do not want to be one of them..it worries me some,if i do make a mistake.and( look stupid.) now i feel like i should of just let it alone..and not asked..
