Trojan.Bagle?

Every time I run IObit 360 recently it is finding the following:

Trojan.Bagle, File, C:\Windows\ehome\cbva.dll, 12-1299

C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-ehome-cbva_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16919_none_285a393f84fe358b\cbva.dll, 12-1299 (there are about 6 just like this one with different series of numbers)

Even if I mark for removal and then rerun 360 it is still finding the above items.. any idea what they are and how I can remove them?

thanks, John

same here

 360 has found 7 threats trojan.bagle (full scan)

I am now on my 3rd full run with 360 full scan and the 7 keep coming up.

C:\WIDNOWS\ehome\cbva.dll

C:\WINDOWS\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-ehome-cbva_31bf3856ad364e35_6.060002.18005_none_285a393f84fe358b\cbva.dll

the last set of numbers are different but everything else is the same, for the rest off the quarantined.

I also noticed when I tried to go to a website ie; hulu.com It would direct me to yahoo cant find that address page even if i was not using yahoo.

How do we get rid of this one?

I am using avast 5 free ( It did not alert me and with all shields running)

what caused me to run the scan with 360 was the misdirection of the web page. Even though I have 360, ASC premium and avast running at all times.

As well, I have scanned all the above files with avast and it shows no threats.... I dont know what to do!

I have ran 360 over 5x, quarantined them and the same 7 threats just dif end numbers.

OK, so as of today: Apr 19, 2010

Since I have posted this I have run avast 5 full scan twice, and it hasnt found any threats and I have made sure that the 360 is up to date. I ran the ASC maintain windows, diag sys checks and everything comes back with no problems detected. The only thing I can think of is that this started after an HP update involving the touch keys. I also installed teamspeak 3 as well. I am still having issues with web page redirection. Maybe this could be resolved with reinstall of Firefox?

As I edit this I am running 360 full scan again.

Results: 0 threats (yesterday there were still threats)

Time Elapsed: 00:21:54

Object scanned :75692

So all is secure now! HMMMMM OK Great!
