Hi BrainKing,

First, you can upload Game Booster setup file, or any of it's files to VirusTotal and get the report of 40-41 virus scanners that it doesn't have any virus/malware.

You can get the information for uploading in THIS thread.

Secondly, please read,

Game Booster does not touch your hardware or system settings. It only closes background process and services temporarily, so after a reboot, everything will be normal.

I hope this helps.

Cheers.

Hi

Because of the problems with IObit's earlier collecting system of malware samples from volunteers, leading to having a large amount of samples from Malwarebytes in it's definition files does not mean that Game Booster contains malware.

I have used Game Booster myself, belive me, if you buy a computer today from Dell/Acer/HP etc. they usually have a lot of preinstalled programs and functions and with that a lot of unnecessary processes.

I just got a new laptop - about 65-70 processes running in standby!

Game Booster cut it down by at least half, improving performance dramatically.

You can also uninstall everything that you don't need, disable unnecessary startup programs + visiting http://www.blackviper.com for a guide how to disable unnecessary services.

Game Booster does that for you, at least temporarly until you go back to normal mode ;-)

Regards
