Smart Defrag is dumb on Vista

I've posted about problems before but they seem to have been removed. I never got any feedback from IObit either.

I've use Beta 3.1 on XP without any problems. But the latest version 4.01 has some really nasty features on Vista. If I try to defragment a partition, it hangs at 10% complete. If I click Stop it does NOT stop. After a while, I go to the Task Manager to kill the beast and it will NOT be killed. I tell Vista to shut down and it will NOT shutdown without using the Power button, which seems like a stupid thing to have to do when a defragmenter is running.

I've downloaded and am running Diskeeper Home. It not only is progressing nicely, it shows me what file it's working on. That would be a nice feature for ISD so if it hung, I could check to make sure that the file it was working on wasn't destroyed.

Displayed on my ISD screen is "Without fetching filename 2". Also, the right window of the main screen cheerfully offers an update to the same version I'm running.

Will ISD be Vista compatible? Will a working version get a new version number?
