I need to uninstall 360 and Advanced but they do not respond to my attempts to get rid of them. I am having all kinds of problems with the way my computer works since I downloaded these programs. They do not seem to be in the least compatible with my computer (Dell 2400) and my search engines (mostly Opera).

Hi Colin

Before attempting uninstalling, one has to close down the programs - also the automatic functions + possible extra functions in the program. Then uninstall normally or as a clean uninstall.

Please read about it in Usage of IObit Products

Your problems probably stem from not placing anything in the Ignore List or your configuration of your settings - please read about that subject too in the same thread.

If you have partly uninstalled the programs I think you will have to install them again before attempting uninstalling them properly this time.

Hi Colin, download and use the norton removal tool to remove the norton 360 program and any traces of previous norton products left on your computer when you tried to install norton 360. Once norton is removed check to see if ASC works properly. If it doesn't, reinstall the program then reinstall norton 360. This worked for me.
