adding item to service list doesn't work [SOLVED]

Recommended Posts

I've tried to add a background process to the service list but it does not show up when I run the program to switch to game mode. I have to manually shut the process down. The program is called Pointix, a mouse enhancement utility. I shut it down because it interferes with mouse right-clicks in World of Warcraft. I thought it might be nice if GameBooster could be told to shut it down. It's an old program that goes back to my early XP days that I've used for a long time.

The entry PointixScroll.exe=1 shows up in the .ini file, but doesn't appear in the list.
