We have all heard of 20-20 sight/hindsight :-)

This means that from 20 feet away the person can see what others can see from 20 feet away - in other words normal eyesight.

In metric measurement it is called 6-6 sight.

Actually very sharp eyesight should be written 20-10 in other words the person sees from 20 feet what others only can see from 10 feet away.

Yes Sol,hindsight is probably 100/1 (in my case),and 20/200 is legally blind in the U.S. :shock:

Thanks - I didn't know the legal limit!

No legal limit on hindsight I trust :-)

I use corrective lenses on both eyes of -5 diopters (they lengthen the distance to the focal point in my eyes) to make me have about 20-20 eyesight :-)

By now (age induces) I only need -2.5 for reading at my normal distance.
