Probably a PM spammer type deal. They get robots to post once, which gets them by restrictions many boards have not to allow "0 post" members to use the PM system, and then they start spamming members directly through their messenger (PM). This type of post won't necessarily raise flags immediately, because they don't include spam links right away and they remain vague with the content, use an innoncent "Google" reference, etc...

 

Pretty clever.

Yeah, we get these from time to time but they are usually quite easy to spot.

Some even try to get past by blatantly praising the Mods, that will never work !

(But, it's nice to read just before clicking the Delete Button :mrgreen: )

 

Ironic that the spammer links to Google, it can be a simple yet effective tool for confirming SpamBots
