Website Virus

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum. I would like to tell you a little bit about me.

I am a webmaster... I have a few websites and my question to the forum is related to one of my websites.

I have IObit Security on my PC and at no time have I received any warnings regarding my website having any viruses. However, a colleague has informed me that his AV program showed that my website had a virus called "ScrInject.B.Gen.virus" attached to it.

We have searched extensively for information regarding the virus but as it seems to be relatively new... there is not much information coming back at us through Google or Yahoo on: (A) How to Locate it (B) How To Protect against further invasion © How to fix it!

Is there any information anyone can offer regarding this virus and if so how to get rid of it?

Thank you for any input.

Is there a way to test the Website from IObit

Just before I forget...

Is there any way to test websites for viruses from IObit?

Thanks

I am not sure what AV he is using... I will need to ask him tonight. But I found a site that checks websites and according to them, there is no virus. Go figure. Maybe my colleague needs to change his HYPER sensitive AV program.

Welcome to the forum SEOMeg

You should ask your friend to report the False Positive of your site to the AV company.

They should be able to check it themselves and put it on their 'white list' or if they feel there is something on your website that warrants a warning then they can explain what it is.

All the best, woz of oz
