How to turn off update notifications

Recommended Posts

Hi All -

I', a newbie to thsi board. I just upgrade to Windows 7 and installed the free version of System Care. How do I shut off the messages at start-up that tell me an update is available? I find those messages annoying and prefer to check for updates manually when I feel lkie it. Is it a Windows setting or can I do it in System Care? Thanks for your helpw

hi to both of you .i have asked this for a fair while now.

and would like to see this option added to iobit all, applications.

giving one the option to be able to start and run the program(S) and still be able to not get the nagging ,or linking if not wanted.

as in

1 turn of auto update.

2 or apply updates.

please select your option.

something added like this.save;s ME having to block iobit like 360.from linking..and having to reset

this when i want to.or get the pop up every time i run them.i agree its frustrating.. but understand why its there as well.

i would like very much to be able to run them all the time.without the linking in the background checking .for a update ..and use the applications. ..at all times..

Hi johnriley57,

The pop-up for update is to avoid any miss of update as the update version is improved and fixes some bugs.

So we suggest you still run ASC with Windows startup and update to the latest version as soon as you get the update news.

Please go to the following link to download and install the latest ASC v3.6.1 Pro.

How Can I turn off System Optimization Pop-up Notifications?

Hi all, new to this forum, used ASC for a few years now.

Several times a day, I'll get a pop-up from the System Tray that says "In the past x days, your system has been optimized x times". Because the numvers change, I used "x" instead of a number."

Is there any way to turn off those notifications? It's nice that the program is on top of things, but I don't need to know how many Optimizations the program has done in the past few days.

Thanks for the help :)

Lisa
