my eyesight is bad and use 800x600 resolution

the advertising page of the screen on the right hand side obscures quarter of the active scanning window

are there plans to fix this

there used tu be an option not to run it at star5tup

Yes, but only with the pro version!!

 

You can move the window around by holding on to the top bar and pulling it with the mouse, then in the right hand upper corner you can close the window.

With the free version you can keep it away as long as you have it in the tray,

but it will come back at every boot and restart of the program.

Then you are in smartdefrag (ISD)!! I thought from your remarks about clicking the news center away that the problem was with AWC.

In ISD you do not have that option, so a larger screen or a higher resolution seems to be the only options.

I have a 17" in resolution 800x600 - my eyes aren't too good either, so the next time I buy a screen it will be bigger :-)
