windows vista_erreur 0xc004d401

Hello everybody,

 

From time to time and for 15 days, i have a message on my computer (system windows vista) "protection logicielle de windows-erreur 0xc004D401-une modification non autorisée a été apportée à windows ". When it occurs, this window doesn't allow me to access to windows update. But when this window doesn't appear, i can access to windows update and it seems that all news upgrade have been applyed without problems.

 

I'm afraid this could be a malware or a trojan but my anti-threats system (iobit 360, avast, spyboot....) doesn't detect any threat.

 

Do you think i can follow the link propose by the window to solve the problem or is this a threat:twisted:?

Windows Vista Error 0XC004D401: The security processor reported a system file mismatch error.

 

have you installed or deleted anything prior to the error.

 

try a system restore.
