Trend Micro blocking IObit sites. [SOLVED]

My Trend Micro Internet Security is blocking IObit site as well as the forum.

Not sure which version though, It came with my computer as OEM.

I think it's 2010.

Yup, my Trend Micro Internet Security is using the latest definition.

(It never happened before, until like yesterday or 2 days ago)

I am using OEM version of Trend Micro Internet Security

Program version: 17.50.1659.0000

Engine version: 9.200.1008

Pattern version: 7.481.50

 

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium x64

I have noticed that in a few different forums people are posting about Trend Micros latest definitions are blocking websites that they have never had a problem with before and are sending them a report about false blockages.

Thank you for your update.

 

I have contacted Trend Micro for this issue and their staff told me that they have submitted my request to their Technical Specialist for the reclassification of our websites.

 

It may need 2-3 days for the website to be reclassified.

Hi All,

 

This issue has been solved on Trend Micro side. All IObit websites have been reclassified to Computer/Internet Categories and is no longer being blocked by the Trend Micro programs.

hi all well you may of solved this,,but let me tell you there software knocks out IOBIT 360...

 

if you want to install there soft ware...

i just tried it ..called TREND MICRO TITANIUM...MAX SECURITY

 

so what is there problem? with this ..also it knocked out a other one as well

If you haven't re-imaged yet... could you try to install ASC, just to see if Trend blocks it as well ? I'm just curious, and can't wait to hear what they (Trend Micro) have to say about this.

 

Edit : I phrased that wrong. I guess that if you had ASC already installed, Trend would have blocked it as well as IS360. so never mind about installing it, too much hassle.

the other one well 3 1 that was (is) my filter application..that it tried to block from the net,but unsuccessfully..in other words could not stop it as it calmed it did..

this alone was disappointing,it should of stopped me from surfing..and when i did nothing..!! to say it was running!......so what else is ? and it the app could not stop?

 

 

the other thing if we go into crackling..is one cant set much .it has 6 links.

you must allow.the so called fire wall you get 1 setting.enhance win fire wall

 

that's it..and see nothing els,there child settings OK not bad..but that's it..

 

this is supposed to do it all for you and you the user has not much say.bar ether on or of..

my answer is make sure thy are and not kill of legit applications..!

knock out compatibly...or try to force there software only ..usable..

i certainly have no time or a place on my system for this type of force ware..

i expected my fire wall to go..but not iobit.or mbam or my filter application,

that is why i said yes,go ahead and install...

 

let me ex plane my filter application cant be interfered with.or uninstalled..

nor digested..by any app .

 

ok if people want to use this program and like trend macro ,don't let this post deter you..USE it..i used to like it once myself but a long time back .
