Advanced SystemCare 3.7.2 is released

Hello again

I downloaded the bugfix and followed the instructions very carefully, thankyou. I am back on my laptop to write these notes up for you.

On my desktop I am afraid that my Mozilla Firefox (MF) is still prevented from running correctly. I started MF first and it was working fine, downloading whatever I chose. Then I ran NetworkMon, tried to download a new page and 15 mins later it is still trying to download my selection. My Mozilla Thunderbird (MT) is a bit sick as well, it cant find my ISP. MT was also tested prior to running NetworkMon.

I will uninstall this last version of ASC until this problem can be solved, I need to have my browser and email service running smoothly.

I hope this helps you guys a bit, I am not a programmer of any note at all, so I cant offer any advice about why this is happening, sorry.

Dear fairwind,

We are so sorry to hear that the issue remains.

Would you please try to do a clean reinstall of ASC 3.7.2 befor trying the debug steps.

Thank you very much.

if i may have a suggestion, could u add a run at startup option like SmartRAM has? (and if u could add the option to start as the floating window instead of the whole thing) would be great thx

hmm...could some1 explain to me why avastsvc gets like 150% of all the data downloaded?

something tells me that that cant be right. when looking at it for a while it seems to get the same download speed as firefox.

watching youtube vid

128kb/sec download showing

(firefox registers 64kb/sec, avastsvc.exe registers 64kb/sec)

is it splitting the data between firefox and avast? or is it doubling up the data downloaded? weird

Dear Smarik1,

Thank you for your quick feedback.

Right now, NetworkMon is still at Beta version and it bugs too often like you encountered.

We do will consider adding auto startup as you wish after stable version releasing.

For your second question, it is normal.

All download thing will be checked by Avast's real-time protection/AvastSvc.exe.

The traffic just passed through Avast's Port, it is not real double downloading.

Hope this could be help. Cheers and thank you again.

Hello again iobit support team,

I cant get the bugfix to work so I will wait for the stable vs I think.

I went thro the instructions; "do a clean reinstall of ASC 3.7.2 before trying the debug steps."

Thank you for your efforts, I will keep in touch with the updates.

thanks itobe ^^

btw, even though peoples browsers get screwed up (meaning they cant get to this site and get their own fix if they have just 1 pc), their network connection still works (programs can download, msn works etc) so if u force the fix through iObit update for ASC u could fix it for them

testing all the things the bandwidth monitor works with, so far ran into something interesting

NCsoft launcher (most popular mmos downloaded there) is not detected as a service by the monitor so none of the data downloaded or the download speed is counted. the launcher does show download speed and total size on its own so its not really a big deal :P just thought it might be something to look into since im guessing most mmo updaters wont be detected by the monitor. not important to me, but people with bandwidth limiters might wanna know how much they r using up.

Windows Home Server Affected?

Hi, I have had major issues with one of the my WHS nodes. Specifically, the WHS connector. I have been messing with my network for days now trying to get it back up and only now stumbled across reference the the IObit software.

After Google pointed me here, I see that there seems to be some issues in the same area, so I am hoping someone can help me out here.

Problem:

Windows Home Server eventually loses contact with my PC. I've been able to reestablish contact via a Restore, but WHS eventually figures it out and blocks access again. WHS also lost internet connectivity this time, though my PC is still connected to the internet; the PC cannot connect to the WHS though.

Here's a peice of the EventComb log that led me to IObit:

1000,ERROR,Application Error,Fri Oct 15 10:39:46 2010,No User,Faulting application name: InstLSP.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4ca18dc9 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bdbdf Exception code: 0x80000003 Fault offset: 0x000122a1 Faulting process id: 0x1700 Faulting application start time: 0x01cb6c8feb2143a0 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3\InstLSP.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: 33042020-d883-11df-8914-00044b181e29

3036,WARNING,Windows Search Service,Fri Oct 15 09:47:03 2010,No User,The content source <csc://{

I haven't tried any re-installations or any of the aforementioned fixes yet because I see that they have caused other problems in some cases, which I'd like to avoid. IF that's the best course of action, I can try it, but I just want to be fairly sure that it won't cause additional problems with my configuration:

3 PCs - Windows 7 Ultimate

1 Laptop - Windows 7 - Home Premium

1 Server - WHS (PowerPack3)

Dell 5212 Managed Switch

Any help at all here would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Updated debug version of NeworkMon

Hi all,

Sorry for the late reply.

Here is an Updated debug version of NetworkMon. It should solve your network issue.

Please try to:

1) Download the debug version (networkmon-debug.rar) from here.

2) Extract networkmon-debug.rar to a place you like.

3) Copy Remove.exe into "C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3" folder in Windows (x32).

3*) Copy Remove.exe into "C:\Program Files (86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3" folder in Windows (x64).

4) Run Remove.exe>Uninstall>OK.

5) Restart System.

6) Copy the other three files (instlsp.exe, lLSP.dl, Sup_NetworkMon.exe) from where you have extracted, to "C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3" folder to remove the old ones in Windows (x32).

6*) Copy the other three files (instlsp.exe, lLSP.dl, Sup_NetworkMon.exe) from where you have extracted, to "C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3" folder to remove the old ones in Windows (x64).

7) Run Sup_NetworkMon.exe and then

8) Check if your IE/Firefox is OK.

Tons of appreciation to you.

The update should be cautious so we have to works out a more stable version and do some more investigation.

i have win 7 64bit and it shows them. although im not installing asc till this is fixed, its not worth my browser randomly giving up on me
